THE SERVICE
"WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?"
All of your windows, frames, and sills will be cleaned as standard.
"HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME?"
Most of my customers like to have their windows cleaned once a month, and some choose to have them cleaned every two months. Just let me know your preference.
You'll receive a text message the day before I am next due to confirm. I kindly request that you make sure any gates are left unlocked on the day of the clean, and paths are clear of any animal waste.
You can alter the frequency of your clean or cancel at anytime, although I'm confident you'll value the excellent quality of my service.
"WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?"
I'm predominantly based in the High Peak, Stockport, and Macclesfield areas. If you're unsure about your area, feel free to get in touch and I'll let you know.
"WHAT METHODS DO YOU USE?"
I'll be using a variety of tools to clean your windows, but primarily I prefer to use the water fed pole system. Why? Primarily for 4 reasons:
1. It leaves a better finish on the glass. Using soapy water to clean a window can leave smears. Pure water, once dry, leaves a perfect finish.
2. The windows stay clean for longer. When soap is used to clean glass, it can leave a tacky layer which over time attracts articles of dirt to the window. Pure water, once left to dry on the glass, leaves nothing behind to attract dirt.
3. The brush is especially suited to cleaning UPVC frames and sills; the jets of water are able to flush out dirt where traditional tools cannot reach, and specially designed bristles help to cover every angle of the frames.
4. It's much safer for the operator. This is pretty self explanatory; using the water fed pole negates the need for ladders.
Of course there are still occasions that necessitate more traditional window cleaning methods, especially if your windows haven’t been cleaned in a while, or if stubborn material needs to be removed (like paint or glue). So I’ll be using whatever tools are required to achieve a high quality finish.
"HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?"
I don't publish a price list because every house is different, but if you're interested, I'm happy to pop round and give you a free quote.
"HOW DO I PAY YOU?"
After I've cleaned your windows, I'll pop a card through your letterbox with my bank details. Just be sure to include the first line of your address in the payment reference.
